Top Club
I’m getting myself down to Kensington Roof Gardens on Friday, to eat at the terrific restaurant Babylon (their rabbit is amazing!) before partying on in the club. I’ll be in the VIP room, christened the Moo Room, from which I’ll be enjoying a few cocktails and keeping an eye on the dancefloor. I’m going to resist venturing onto it though, because once you do you lose all rights to sit in judgement on everyone else’s drunken antics!
Top Bar
Who’s a Big Brother fan? Rex has made it into the final, and his family’s Beach Blanket Babylon ventures are sure to be his first port of call this weekend after he finally gets released from the mad house. My favourite is the original in Notting Hill, it’s more decadent and there are lots of fun different areas to enjoy. Come here for the cocktails – my favourite is the Jimmy Choo Martini with Belvedere vodka, apple puree and schnapps.
The Big News
First of all, I want to remind you all about the Shoreditch Shuffle that the lovely Pearl Lowe is launching next weekend. Every big Shoreditch venue is getting involved, including Favela Chic, 333, Elbow Room and the Hoxton Pony. It’s the 13th and 14th September, so don’t forget to order your tickets.

Top 5
It’s all change in the chart this week, as I unearth yet more new places for you to try!
1. Opal
This South Kensington underground cave is great, the shots are served in glasses that most bars would serve a long cocktail in.
2. MAYA
After the delicious Prosecco Gold and swanky Aston Martin reception last night, Maya proves itself the place to be yet again.
3. Zebrano at The Establishment
Check out hot (and oh-so-cute) DJ T Foxx spinning there this Saturday.
4. Enclave
Date for your diary folks – on the 13th September, celebrity DJ Lil’ Jo of Shipwrecked fame brings her Play night to this Soho cocktail haunt.
5. Bordello
This Soho members bar feels a little like you’re in a spider’s web with all the netting adorning the walls, and it’s great for a pre-club stop off.
